CAMPER EXPECTATIONS

Parents please read!
While at camp your child is under the care of the Graphite Bible Camp  staff. We therefore request that you  understand and adhere to the Board of Directors policies pertaining to camp.
Drugs/Smoking/Vaping
Graphite Bible Camp is a drug-free environment. No smoking, vaping, alcohol or drugs on the grounds. All medication must be in the original container. Marijuana for medical use only must be accompanied with a physicians prescription and may not be smoked on premises. No exceptions!

We expect you to obey all camp rules and to
participate in all activities.

No offensive media

No cell phones, music playing devices, computers, tablets, or gaming devices. Graphite Camp desires to develop a healthy camper community. Personal devices take away from a camper fully immersing in our community and therefore the above mentioned
devices are not permitted. If you would like to contact your camper during the week we encourage you to call or email the camp with their name in the subject line. Electronics will be collected at the start of the week or should be left at home. In case of homesick campers we do allow limited phone calls home.

In order to ensure a fun time for all campers, we request that campers’ behaviour, speech (no profanity), and dress is respectful and not offensive/suggestive. Short, tight, and revealing clothing is
considered inappropriate. Loose t-shirts and modest shorts are a must. Undergarments must be worn and they must not be seen at any time (male and female).
No haircutting or colouring while at camp.
Campers are to respect others and staff members. Any kind of abuse (physical or verbal) is not acceptable. (eg. put-downs or bullying are unacceptable.)

ABOUT US

Graphite Bible Camp is nestled among the hills in Hastings County, Ontario, 22 kms north of the village of Bancroft.  The camp came into existence because the camp founders, Doug and Marion Robinson, had a burden to see all the children in the Bancroft area experience a summer camp no matter what they could afford financially.
